Hertz

I tried to rent a car from here on-line but it only showed 9AM time slots available. Hoping it was a mistake, I called Hertz customer service to book and was told this site is no longer operating...after 10 minutes on hold. Hopefully you see this and don't have your time wasted like I did.

Always helpful when I rent here. Cindy always have everything ready to go and I'm out to my car in less than a minute and on the road! Even when. I forget stuff in the car, they find it and get it back right away. Definitely recommend for anyone, especially AAA members.

Horrible experience....would never rent from them again. Will be letting anyone I know of their sneaky way to add charges and lie to your face. Never have had an issue with any other car rental places.

This place does not have anyone to check in cars when you return your rental before their counter opens. Twice I have been told that my car has damage that I need to pay for. The counter states that you have the right for an inspection with one of their agents when you rent or return. Do not forget that! There is not a person there early and so after you've flown out, bang! you get a nice letter from them stating your have 2 whole days to review the damage! This is owned out of Green Bay and I believe they also own the Hertz at the Appleton airport as well. Renter beware, in my opinion. Take pictures before dropping off!!

Buyer (or in this case, renter) beware! I needed to rent a minivan to transport two disabled people and their related gear over a weekend and Hertz at the airport was the only rental company with one available. Or so they said. When we arrived, no van. That was not good, but with no choice we made it work.nnThe rental was already expensive, I was quoted $240 for 1.5 days, the rental was $90/day plus fees including extra airport fees (I didn’t fly in, I drove 20 miles out of my way to rent here and pay extra airport fees and parking because I really needed a minivan). After what I thought was a pleasant conversation with the representative, I also agreed to an insurance fee of $29. So I was extremely unhappy to be charged $345 for the rental. It turns out that the $29 was a daily fee, so really it was $60. I had also asked what was needed to add a second driver and the representative said “just a driver’s license”, so I added a second driver. Turns out that is an extra daily fee too!nnDon’t rent here. The sales representatives will be deceptive and say whatever they need to to tack on extra charges. I, of course, questioned the bill when I got it, and the “manager” could not have cared less. I asked if employees receive bonuses for those extra fees and the “manager” refused to answer.nnJust a terrible, terrible company and location. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
