I am a sophomore in high school and today when I was getting off the bus, the driver kept driving, I said “stop” loudly twice. When I got to the front of the bus, the driver stopped and told me I need to get off at my stop, and said “my stop was back there, I can just get off here.” She told me I had to get off my stop, which I can see why that’s a rule but we were a bus length away from my stop. Then when I got off at the second stop I made sure someone who is supposed to get off was behind me so she couldn’t close the doors and not let me go, as I got off she told me I was in trouble. The way I see I could’ve had a 1,000 reasons to no get off at my stop and 1,000 reasons to get off at my stop, I don’t have any reason to be home before 4:30 so I could’ve waited, but if I had she would’ve been to blame. I also think that Bus monitors should be in the middle of the bus, not in the bed front, because if something happens in the front that must be addressed the driver could handle it. But a handful of the kids in the back of my bus misbehave and then everyone who sits in the back is punished for it.
This is one of the best companies to work for and for kids to get on the bus safely it has been around for years and a people and staff members managers bosses here are amazing so never be scared to talk to these guys they will help you
The Eau Claire Student Trantsit is a very interesting place to go if you are looking for a job..
