There are good humans in the world! And some of them work at Alamo Rent a Car at the Dane County Regional Airport! Late last month we rented a car to attend memorial services for our son who recently passed away and we received some cards from friends. We got a call from Clint at Alamo telling us that something had been found in the car we rented. Apparently one of the cards slipped in between the seat and center console. We didn't actually even know about the card. It turns out that there was $50 cash in the card along with the well wishes from family friends. I was blown away at the honesty, the care and concern of Clint and his teammates. Apparently they had tried to reach my husband several times before without success so these guys did NOT give up. I just received the sweet card and the cash in the mail, sent to us from Alamo. This was such a touching experience and I am so very grateful to Alamo and to Clint. You are some of the good guys!

Pick up and drop off was easy at Tampa Airport. Car was clean and full tank of gas. I liked the “debit card” policy. I would rent from them every time. Also handled the “tolls” perfectly.

Word of caution, be careful and read through everything the agent wants you to sign. Do not buckle to the pressure. I had two very negative experiences with Alamo on my honeymoon to Hawaii. In both cases the agents kept trying to push more special fee's upon us. I fell for it the first time as due to the extreme pressure from the agent. The first agent was rude, pushy, and kept pointing out I was holding up the line of other customers when I wanted to read the contract.I found out about the ridiculous charges when I got the bill via email. The second time I was patient and read the contract. The agent still tried to push items on us but stopped when we made it clear to him about our first experience and that we were not going to be duped again.

Madison airport needs better signage stating door number 5 entrance for car pick up! They tell you where you can find your car in lot with out checking it over!

Fast and friendly service. I used a free upgrade and my frequent flyer number for maximum points. The car was clean, new and fun to drive. I picked up at the airport location and have used Alamo for both business and pleasure. I left a few things in the car, and their service manager called me. Good service is a great touch!
