Budget Car Rental

WILL NOT RENT FROM AGAIN. RENTERS BEWARE!!!nwe made reservations online which is where to save money. Called many times to make sure, in the several months leading up to pickup day to be sure to have features we've requested. Budget had plenty of time to reserve the correct vehicle. WE PAID ALMOST $1300. We were reassured each time that each Premium SUV has the features we requested. AND OF COURSE IT DID NOT! WILL NOT BE RETURNING CUSTOMERS EVER AGAIN. management unwilling to provide even 10 dollars for inconvenience! NO HELP

We did not get a clean vehicle at all. They said the SUV was clean and no dings, they did not walk outside with us even though we all had mask on because they said they couldn't. It stunk so bad, thick thick with pot smell and needed a vacuum. In addition, It had a good size dent on the back passenger door, along with other little dings and tiny dents all around the vehicle. They took so long checking us in I didn't have the leisure time to go in and get a new vehicle. If I was by myself I would of but there were others with me and the others didn't want to be late for our family reunion event that night.

I locked the keys in the truck of my rental, my mistake, but the customer service I received from Budget was atrocious! After multiple calls they were going to tow the car with my ID and credit card inside to a closed dealership with my flight being the following morning. Agents showed no understanding or compassion and told me I could get a Lyft to my hotel. We ended up paying someone ourselves to get into the car. I was then billed double for gas! And billed over two months later for roadside assistance that we never got. STAY AWAY from Budget car rental!!! Consider yourself warned!!!

The car I received was dirty in the back seat as well as food on the back of one of the seats. The car also strongly smelt of cigarettes which was not enjoyable. There was also dried mud in the trunk of the car.
