Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented a car from Enterprise at the Burlington, Vt, International Airport on Sept, 10, 2020. I had not even left the airport property when I noticed the low tire light on the dashboard. I was in a hurry, as I had an appointment, so could not return to the airport desk to complain about it. I figured I'd add air to the tire (the left rear tire) as soon as possible. When I got to my destination I looked at the tire and it was very low on air. I called Enterprise and got a Purchase Order Number and the name of a business where I was located to have the tire looked at. I had the tire repaired and paid $35 out of my own pocket. The tire business pulled a long nail and 2 metal staples out of the tire. This leads me to believe that there had been no inspection of the tires before the car was rented out, which is a big safety hazard. When I returned the car, I met a woman who was also returning a car and learned that she, too, had the low air pressure sign come on on her dash when she picked up the car at the airport. She ended up having to return to the airport for a different car. Although Enterprise reimbursed me the $35 out of my own pocket, I am afraid to rent from Enterprise again, as I don't feel safe driving their cars.

I couldn't have ask for a better experience from a rental car company. Easy pick up, w/ experienced counter help. Great direction to car, especially at an airport. Same when dropping off. Check out was less than Two minutes.

Enterprise works very nicely with Heritage Aviation at BTV making cars available on short notice and at reasonable prices. Cars are nice, clean and current models. Just a word of caution, always double check your actual CC charges as I have been erroneously billed an extra day or a few hours over because the actual pick up time was not properly recorded and then you have to go back and argue about it. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Enterprise always makes you feel like you’re part of the family, had a great experience and Burlington Vermont, and dropping off in Boston Logan airport. Garrick in Burlington was amazing, gave us the last available car!
