National Car Rental

National car rental at the Burlington Vt Airport we’re very helpful in dropping the car when I flew into Heritage Avaition Fix Base Operations. Since I did not known the exact departure date they also were very flexible with my return. Great SUV and Great Service, what I expect from National Rent A Car.

The worst Car rental experience I have ever had. Selected the car at the counter and walked to the garage. Didn't have time to go back to the counter to trade in as I was already late for an appointment. The car wasn't washed on the outside and was caked with dirt. The window had bug and large blotches of debris and made it difficult to see out of. The inside was dirty and had large muddy dog paws all over the seats. Totally unacceptable condition for a car to be passed on to a customer.

Typically have to settle for a SUV or van due to no sedans being available.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. This airport is really small and the National counter was easy to find. We were surprised how easy car rentals are at this airport because you don't have to stop after you get into your rental car. The car was more difficult to find because of limited signage. It would have been nice to have information regarding the return. There are no return greeters, you just park it somewhere and stop by the counter to return the key. It did take time to wait to return the car because there is only one counter for check in and check out. National makes it easy to rent cars and there were no surprises for this rental.
