Alamo rent a car in Burlington Vermont was one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had with a rental car agency. Courteous counter assistance both picking up and dropping off. Decent selection of vehicles and no hard sell on unwanted options. Clear concise information about options. Thank you Alamo for raising the bar of rental car experiences.

Alamo was awesome right from the get go . I needed to switch my time for pickup !! Ok no problem sir when would you like to pickup rental! How about noon , ok no problem sir . Vehicle was ready as promised nice and clean . No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend Alamo . Probably one of the best experiences renting a car . Pick up was very easy. Drop off easy also.nThe vehicle. I originally asked for a sedan but I decided to up grade to a bit larger vehicle. So got a Hundayi Santa Fe and I really enjoyed driving it. It was very comfortable.

1. I paid car&insurance through Expedia. After I came bk home, I found out Alamo burlington charged me over $200. They said that is for insurance. But I already paid insurance to expedia. After wasting my time to talk w customer service, finally they said they would refund. But I still do not understand how it could be even possible to charge for insurance. No one even asked if we wanted to buy insurance from them and I did not sign anything on the paper for insurance.

No fuss, no hassle. Checkin and go directly to the vehicle. Vehicle was in great shape, the one we wanted which was problem free. Drop off took about 5 seconds. Again, no hassle. We returned the vehicle a little early and were credited with the time difference. No attempt to sell you extras or rip you off with the full gas tank scam like some other car rentals. The vehicle was in the attached garage, no shuttles to contend with. Receipt was emailed to us before we got home from the airport. In some cases Alamo is more expensive but worth it in the quality of service. We use Alamo whenever we can when we travel.
