I have rented from Avis at the Union Station for years and I would rate the majority of my rentals as a 10/10. The staff has always been very friendly and I plan to continue renting from Avis at this location in the future -- I would also recommend it to friends looking for a quick and easy rental. I had to extend my most recent rental by one day and was able to quickly and easily do that. The Avis app is very easy to use for extensions and checking in upon return, and overall the check in process has always been very quick and efficient.

Where to start? I’ve rented multiple cars from Avis and this coupled with the last rental from the union station location have pushed me to a point where I don’t know if I can rent from you anymore or recommend you to anyone. In fact I will actively tell people not to rent from Avis. I am appalled and it takes me a lot to get to this point. This is the SECOND time that you all have wrongly charged me for not returning with a full gas tank, we experienced the RUDEST customer service I have ever experienced when picking up the car yesterday (Not to mention he was NOT wearing a mask) and the last vehicle I rented smelled like it had been hot boxed in WEED to the point when I went through a police check point in GA/FL they wanted to search the vehicle. 11 HOURS after it had been picked up. I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of customer service, professionalism and quality of this location. Not to mention waiting over an hour both times for a vehicle after making a reservation. You really need to work on a fully integrated supply chain approach. Low prices will not keep you competitive forever particularly when it cannot be coupled with value added service and an even average customer experience.

It was last minute that I needed a car and they not only helped me but put me in a nice ride for my sisters wedding. I am forever grateful for that. This is how I felt until I saw the charges on my account. I was over charged when I was told I would pay 356.00 they charged me 726.00 and I even brought my car back the same time I got it and then I was charged for another day also saying it was brought back late. No one discussed this with me. When I dropped the car off they didn’t say nothing to me just over charged me so I will not be renting ever with this company again!!!

The employee at Avis greeted me with a positive attitude. I can tell they were smiling thur they mask. They also took the time to explain everything slowly so I can understand.

I would rate my likelihood to recommend Avis to my family and friends higher, but based on my experience with this location, I am unable to do so. I waited for 45 minutes after I received my rental agreement to receive my vehicle. This was totally unacceptable to me. I am normally a patient and understanding person, but my patience was tested on that day. It seems to me that this location is understaffed and needs to hire a few people to assist with the workload. In the future, i am quite sure I will use Avis again, but I will probably not use this location for a while.
